Inbox

Where work arrives — issues, tickets, and agent activity.

On this page

Your morning starts here. Inbox is where work arrives — GitHub issues, Linear tickets, agent activity, and anything else connected to your integrations.

Press Mod+1 to open it.

What you see

The left side shows a list of items. The right side shows details when you select something. At the top are tabs: Inbox, Agents, and Sources.

The Inbox tab

This is the main view. Items are filtered by status — All, In Progress, Open, Unlinked, or Done. If you have integrations connected, you'll also see sub-tabs for each provider (GitHub, Linear, Jira).

An item might be:

  • A GitHub issue someone filed on your repo
  • A Linear ticket assigned to you
  • An agent that finished a task and wants you to review it
  • A notification that a workflow moved to a new state

Select any item with the arrow keys or click it. The detail panel opens on the right.

What you can do with an item

The detail panel shows the full description, labels, and assignee. From here you have several options:

Work on this — The fastest path. Click it and kill9 creates a Fix or Feature initiative, links the item to it, and opens a chat session with the right agent. In one action you go from "I see a bug" to "an agent is investigating it."

Open in panel — Opens the item in a side panel next to your current work. Useful when you want to reference a GitHub issue while chatting with an agent about it.

Open in chat — Starts a new chat session about this specific item. The agent gets the item's context automatically.

Link to initiative — Attaches this item to an existing initiative you already created. Good for when multiple related issues should be handled together.

Open in browser — Opens the external URL (the GitHub issue page, Linear ticket, etc.) in the built-in browser panel.

The Agents tab

Shows what agents have been doing. Which ones are active, which completed tasks, and any errors that need your attention. This is useful when you have multiple initiatives running and want to check progress without opening each one.

The Sources tab

Shows your connected integrations and their status. Green means connected, red means needs attention. You can reconnect or configure integrations from here.
